Description

Sudoku is a logic based placement puzzle. The aim of the puzzle is to enter a numerical digit from 1 through 9 in each cell of a 9×9 grid made up of 3×3 subgrids, starting with various digits given in some cells. Each row, column, and subgrid must contain only one instance of each numeral. Completing the puzzle requires patience and logical ability. It can take some time to learn how to play sudoku, but once you have, you may find you have trouble stopping.

The concept of picture sudoku is the same, the only difference being that you have pictures instead of numbers. In this case you must have only one of each picture in each row, column and subgrid. It can be a little harder to play picture sudoku as numbers are easier to visualise in patterns than images, but if you want a challenge then have a go. All the pictures in picture sudoku are of Georgina of course.

I strongly suggest that if you have never played sudoku before, you start of with number sudoku.

How to play

I'm lazy, so to save some time I am going to put a link to the Wikipedia sudoku page, it explains how to play it pretty well so I won't waste time duplicating the information.
How to play sudoku.

To set a value, all you have to do is choose the number or picture you want (you can either use the number/picture selector, or you can click on a red number in the grid, or if you are playing picture sudoku, one of the pictures that are bordered), then you can click on the square you want to set.
If you made a mistake, you can either reset a square by using the red X, or you can just set the square to a different value.

If you double click an item in the Number/Picture selector, it will change slightly, you can use this so you dont forget which numbers you have got a full set of.

Play level one so you can get the hang of how it works, then you can move onto the harder ones if you want something more challenging.

Other info

To play the game you will need to have JavaScript enabled.
The game should work in all browsers, however, it seems to look best in Firefox, I will try and improve the look in IE at some point.

I have made it so that the sudoku boards are printable on a single page (all the stuff you see on the page that isn't required wont be printed, how cool is that).
